Last updated on November 30, 2020

This policy provides information about how and when we use cookies. For additional details about the collection and use of information on the Launchmetrics Cloud, please see our User Policy.

What is a cookie?

Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information that a user’s device (computer, tablet or mobile) downloads when it visits a website. They allow the site to “remember” your computer, but not specifically who is using it, and improve your user experience.

How is Launchmetrics using cookies?

Our cookies might contain Personal Information (IP address), but we do not combine the general information collected through cookies with other Personal Information to tell us who you are. As noted, however, we do use cookies to identify that your web browser has accessed aspects of the Launchmetrics Cloud.

Our website uses several types of cookies for different purposes. The type of cookie used on our website can fall under one of the categories below:

Strictly necessary cookies: These cookies help make a website usable by enabling basic functions like page navigation and access to secure areas of the website. The Launchmetrics Cloud cannot function properly without these cookies.

Functional cookies: These cookies are used to improve your experience using the Launchmetrics Cloud. These cookies enable a website to remember information that changes the way the Launchmetrics Cloud or any of the Services behaves or looks, like your preferred language or the region that you are in. This includes recording your acceptance of our Cookie Policy to remove the cookie message which first appears when you use the Launchmetrics Cloud.

All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. If you do not allow these cookies we will not know when you have visited our site, and will not be able to monitor its performance.

Performance: These cookies are used by us or third-party service providers to analyze how the Launchmetrics Cloud and the Services are used and how they are performing. For example, these cookies track what pages are most frequently visited (included for Unregistered Users accessing a public page in the Launchmetrics Cloud and one of our Services such as when an Unregistered Users RSVP for an event or use the Private Viewers on Galleries or Download a Coverage Book), and from what locations or channels our visitors come from. If you subscribe to a newsletter or otherwise fill in a form on our Launchmetrics Cloud, these cookies may be correlated to you. These cookies don’t collect information that identifies a visitor. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. These cookies include, for example, Google Analytics cookies.

How do I refuse or withdraw my consent to the use of cookies?

If you do not want cookies to be dropped on your device, you can adjust the setting of your Internet browser to reject the setting of all or some cookies and to alert you when a cookie is placed on your device. For further information about how to do so, please refer to your browser ‘help’ / ‘tool’ or ‘edit’ section or see http://www.allaboutcookies.org. Please note that if you use your browser settings to block all cookies (including strictly necessary cookies) you may not be able to access or use all or parts or functionalities of the Launchmetrics Cloud and the different Services .

If you want to remove previously-stored cookies, you can manually delete the cookies at any time. However, this will not prevent the Launchmetrics Cloud from placing further cookies on your device unless and until you adjust your Internet browser setting as described above.

Below are pages describing these settings in more detail for each browser.

If you use multiple browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, etc) you must repeat this procedure with each one, and if you connect to the web from multiple devices (e.g. from work and at home), then you will need to set your preferences on each browser on each device.

We strongly recommend that you leave cookies active, because they enable you to take advantage of the most attractive features of the Launchmetrics Cloud but this remains your personal choice.

This Cookie Policy covers our use of cookies only and does not cover the use of cookies by third parties. We do not control when or how third parties place cookies on your computer. For example, third party websites to which a link points may set cookies on your computer.
